Microsoft is showing their gratitude towards those who own Halo: MCC by giving them one free month of XBL. The reason they are doing this is due to the fact that there were matchmaking issues when the game first released. Spencer apologized for the problems that the players were faced with. He has also stated that developer 343 industries was "100% committed" to fix these issues at hand. On the 18th of this month the studio has said that the latest update was nearly ready to be live after going through the final stages of testing. 343 studios has stated the following message about the new update. It will "improve stability, matchmaking, the party and invite system, and more."
Along with the free month of XBL, players will receive a remastered version of Halo 3: ODST and Halo 2: Anniversary multiplayer map Relic.
