There has been some speculation surrounding a rumour that Mr.Tea and I were on the lookout for another admin.
To an extent, this was true. There was an ad out there externally but we were not advertising it in house. The reason for this was simple - we were looking for a fresh pair of eyes, something we both agreed this place really does need and deserve.
As of today, we have appointed Nekrotic to this position. I will be the first to say this is something that goes against my usual belief that these sort of positions should only be recruited internally, however for the reasons above and others - we have gone with him.
My main concern has always been with how a new admin will be welcomed onto the forum, however I think that everyone on here now is mature enough to welcome him and help him where needed in his new role.
The admin structure now applies as below, obviously the responsibilities may be juggled from time to time
Forum Owner: The founder and current running operator of the forum.
Community Manager: Assist founder with all forum operations, running staff and the forum board, etc.
Forum Admin - Responsible for the day to day running of the community, including users and staff, assists the Owner and Community Manager on the front end.
