Hi I need PS3 Help

I found this site looking for help with God of War Ascension. Hopefully someone can help me get the 1.12 update to work on my CFW 4.81 Slim

Can you give me a bit more information? What kind of issues are you having?

I can play the game fine off my external HD but when I do all the updates to 1.12 with no errors the game then freezes at the title screen with the all black screen and just writing on the bottom.
