we will pick from the top 3 threads. I think they should get around 1,000-1,200 rg money, and 2 weeks of prime.

Not a bad idea, the benefit of winning should be a sticky thread if deemed necessary and helps people in the long-term and maybe a month of prime membership. Also shared among social networks if RG has a strong communication with their members through social network.
RG money wouldn't be effective in achieving whatever you are thinking.
