First of all you need to check your system for compatibility!

- Download: NAND/NOR Writer
- Put flsh.hex in to the root folder of your USB/Flash Drive
- Place your USB/Flash Drive in the usb port closest to the BD Drive on your Ps3
- Set a black homepage to your browser on your Ps3
- Go to this website and select Ps3 4.xx NOR NAND WRITER here
- Bookmark that page on your browser
- Close and re-open browser and select the page you bookmarked
- Select the button that says "Write to #### Flash Drive"
- In a minute or two your console should beep and shut down! Congratulations
- Skip the next 3 bullet points if it worked!
If your console doesn't beep and shut down you need to follow the next steps:
- After a while if it's still there or the wave background gets stuck, it has failed!
- Press the off button, restart your Ps3, wait for the filesystem to be checked, then re-try the hack.
- This might even happen after the suceeded warning, that means nothing, do not process on any further unless the Ps3 shuts down its self.
- Turn on your Ps3
- Download the CFW of your choice
- Place it in the usb drive (remember to rename the PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP) and update
- Once it is installed, download the QA_Toggle to the root of your device
- Use the "Install Package Files" entry from the "games" tab and install the file
- Run the new QA Flagger application, then wait until it gets you back to the XMB
- Restart your console
- Download REBUG 4.81.2 REX EDITION to the USB/Flash Drive and update console the normal way
